Strike Lane is a fantastic school that offers great opportunities for our children. The extra circular activities on offer this year have really help our children grow in confidence and learn new skills. The school has entered numerous sporting events out of school which our children have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of.
I moved my children to this school mid year and all 3 have flourished and been made to feel safe and welcome. There is a real emphasis on children’s happiness and well-being and I have to say all 3 have been supported by all members of staff in a kind and loving way. The school feels calm and inviting with staff members who always take the time to listen and communicate any issues. I feel like there is also no pressure to achieve marks only to try your best and I appreciate that all areas of learning whether academic or extra curricular are championed in equal measure.
The staff and teachers, clearly love there jobs and are amazing with the kids. Both kids are going to miss the teachers they have currently.
H loves school and has a wide range of opportunities on offer to her. She is thriving academically and socially. I have no complaints at all. Thank you so much!
I would like to say a huge thank you for time and effort that has gone into writing the end of year reports. These are the most details and helpful reports we have received from school so far. They are easy to read and clearly identify our children’s achievements as well as areas to target for further improvements.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in Sports Day today for KS1. It was really well organised and it was lovely to see the children enjoying themselves so much and all so happy and confident without any pressure. They all did amazing!
I wanted to place on record our thanks for the excellent year five trip to London and how the cancelled train issue was handled by the staff on the trip and also back at school. In what must have been a stressful situation you and your staff have handled the situation brilliantly and done a wonderful job of ensuring the children’s return home that evening. G had a great trip as I’m sure they all did and I’d like to say thank you to the staff for a job well done!
My children are happy and settled. There is a very strong feeling of community amongst the children and plenty of mixing between age groups which is great.
I just wanted to drop an email and say L had such a great day celebrating the Jubilee yesterday and had the biggest smile on her face when she talked about it so I wanted to say thank you.
I came to the Yr5 performance of Hoodwinked today and it was fabulous. What a credit to the children and staff that organised it.
My child has come on leaps and bounds in ALL subjects.
Communication with parents is something I value and find good from Strike Lane. The school also has a fun and motivating ethos that gets the best from pupils.

I can only imagine how stressful the last bit was for you all please pass on my thanks to all the people involved in organising the journey home and thanks to the team for taking the children down to London.
Our son has improved massively this year and has many physical awards to back that up.
My son been to strike lane since Reception, I think the past 2 years in year 4 and 5 Mr Denton and Miss O’Grady helped him loads, we need more teachers like them, so ever credit to them both.

I am very happy with strike lane, it is my daughters first year and she has improved so much in the last year.
Can I just say how wonderful you and your team have been in making the kids feel safe and secure in their learning over the past few months? H adapted straight away and this is a testament to the efforts you have all made. She loves school, loves learning and is thriving. I could not have wished for a better start for her in her formal education. It means the world to us.

I just wanted to say how impressed we have been with the home schooling resources and say thank you to everyone at school for their hard work during what I am sure has been a stressful time for you all.
L … has been so engaged and thoroughly enjoyed her school work and has been so excited every day, the teachers have been amazing and very responsive. She particularly loved the live sessions and I enjoyed getting a snapshot of her school life.
The homeschooling during the first lockdown was really well managed and we were extremely grateful…but this has been a marked improvement and has also made it so much easier for parents.
The communication from school has also been fantastic and again we’d like to say thank you for this.
