GOVERNANCE

As part of Endeavour Learning Trust, the overall legal responsibility for Strike Lane Primary School sits with the Trust Board.  However, local accountability on educational standards and stakeholder engagement are fundamental to the Trust’s vision and fulfilled by a Local Academy Councils (LACs).  Strike Lane’s LAC therefore has an important role in championing the school in the its local community and within the Trust, with Councillorsreflecting the community the school serves, including parent and staff representations. Please see information below regarding constitution, membership, attendance and interests.

The Local Academy Council is passionate about the school and Councillors are there to make sure that every young person is given the best education, opportunities and experiences possible to realise their potential. Our Councillors play an important role in overseeing the work of the school, acting as “critical friends” for school leaders and holding the school to account for performance and development.

If you want to bring any matters to the attention of the Local Academy Council (LAC), you should address your correspondence to the LAC Chair at the school address.
