In October the year 5’s went to London. We had to arrive at the train station reeeeaaaallllly early so we could get on the train and get to London as early as possible to get as much done as we could. Our first stop was the hostel which was very fancy.
Once we had dropped our things off we went to have lunch in the park next to the Houses of Parliament. After we had eaten – making sure not to leave any litter – we went to the Houses of Parliament for 2 hours. First we had a talk about both the houses in parliament then we got to see where the politicians and Lords and Baronesses make decisions about our country. Then we pretended to be the decision makers of the country.
After that we had a walk around and arrived at Pizza Express for our evening meal before making our way to the theatre to see Matilda. It was amazing.
After varying amounts of sleep for us all, we had breakfast at the hostel before making our way to the River Thames for our cruise then finally onto the London eye where we saw London with a Birds Eye view.
Tired and full of amazing memories we got on the train and came home.
Thank you to Mr Denton, Miss O’Grady, Mrs Bamber and Mr Schwandt for everything.
