We are delighted to let you know that the DfE have approved our application (subject to consultation with our school community) to convert to an academy and join the Endeavour Learning Trust.
This is an incredibly exciting and important time for Strike Lane Primary School, and it’s important to us that we take this opportunity to explain the rationale behind the Governing Body’s proposal and invite your responses.
We are certain that joining Endeavour Learning Trust will provide our school with the opportunities to continue to build on our strengths. Colleagues at Endeavour Learning Trust share our view that the school is a high-performing, caring and inclusive school where everyone matters. The Trust shares our values, and is committed to supporting our vision of developing a love of learning to inspire each other to thrive in the world, supported by our tailored curriculum thus ensuring our children are provided with the very highest standard of education.
Joining forces with Endeavour Learning Trust will give Strike Lane Primary School the opportunity to combine our resources to deliver a truly world-class education for our children, and to continue to serve our community. One of the Trust’s core values is “Individuality”, meaning that we can continue to preserve our identity and the approaches that have supported us to be successful, whilst working with like-minded colleagues to enhance our offer even further.
Our proposal follows an extensive period of consideration by the Governing Body. We have explored a range of options, including maintaining the status-quo but we are confident that joining Endeavour Learning Trust is in the school’s best interests both now, and in the future.
We have provided a “Frequently Asked Questions” document to provide more detail, and to answer the questions that you may have. I hope you find this information and the FAQ document below both reassuring and exciting.
